‘It’s not great’ says 118

We, and other letting agents we work closely with, are finding that we are steadily busy. The friendly service we provide has tenants telling their friends about us resulting in a steady flow of calls and people in our shop. While the telephone has rang a little less than usual, we have noticed an increase in internet referrals and clients.

We know that estate agents are struggling at the moment, as we have noticed some estate agents are poaching our landlords in an attempt to keep their struggling shops open. All is fair in love and lettings! We don’t mind though. Like any good letting agent, we have enough to share, and are happy for all of our landlords, or indeed tenants, to try elsewhere. We are confident they will come back to us once they realise the level of service we offer is greater than any estate agent. ‘Supa Rent’ is not bogged down with sales targets and therefore has the time and lettings expertise lacking in an average estate agent. Letting agents dedicate their time to finding the right tenant, the right property, the right landlord. Estate agents are, by nature, primarily sales driven, with little or no thought of after care. They are mostly happy to sell anything to anyone, just take a look at their shining example on ‘The Apprentice’. If there was ever a man who personified what the general public think about estate agents, it’s him.
